Why These Renovations Are Urgent
Our church has been a place of worship, fellowship, and community support for generations — but our building is now facing serious structural challenges that cannot wait.

Termite Damage: Both drywood and ground termites have damaged the structure. A generous member has already funded treatment for ground termites, but the damage to key support beams — especially those holding up the roof — is significant.

Roof & Water Damage: Our roof is leaking, and damaged gutters have allowed water to cause further harm to the building’s interior and structure.

Acting Now: The combination of termite and water damage means we must act quickly to protect the safety, function, and future of our church home.

What We Have Done So Far

Aloha Termite & Pest Control secured for ground termite treatment

Roof evaluated by three vendors

Architect Tom Knapp drafting plans

Met with county officials for permits & historic review

Contractor bids received
What Phase 1 Funds Will Be Used For
Our Capital Campaign Goal Funds from this campaign will be used to:

Repair or replace damaged beams and other structual areas with water or termite damage

Replace or repair the roof to prevent ongoing water damage

Repair or replace damaged gutter systems to protect the building
-
Treat for dry wood termites to prevent continued deterioration

Our Vision For The Future
Once the urgent repairs are complete, we hope to address other needs that will strengthen our ministry and service for years to come.
If God provides through especially generous hearts, we hope to continue renovations with additional phases including:

Repainting the Church – Protecting and preserving our building from the elements

Replacing windows - Due to non-functional windows

Septic System Upgrade – Required to meet upcoming government regulations

Complete the Kitchen Renovation – To once again have a functional church kitchen
